Contraindications
• hypersensitivity to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
• use in patients with asthma, rhinitis, and nasal polyps
• use in children or teenagers for viral infections, with or without fever
Drug interactions
• apixaban, dabigatran, rivaroxaban, NSAIDs (COX-2 inhibitors or non-selective), vitamin K antagonist (warfarin), alcohol, ginkgo biloba, Varicella virus-containing vaccines
Cautions
• discontinue use if tinnitus or impaired hearing occurs
• use with caution in patients with platelet and bleeding disorders
• avoid use in patients with active peptic ulcer disease
