  • history of cholestatic jaundice or hepatic dysfunction with amoxicillin/clavulanate potassium therapy
  • Severe renal impairment
  • Suspected or confirmed mononucleosis

Twice daily dosing: 25 mg amoxicillin/kg/day in divided doses twice daily using the 200 mg/5 mL or 400 mg/5 mL oral suspension or the 200 mg or 400 mg chewable tablets
