Reports on Suggested Changes

Below are reports and documents regarding the development of the list. Feedback received on the draft list of essential medicines was reviewed by the core research team. The team developed literature search questions for appropriate suggestions. These literature search questions were answered by a team of clinician-scientists who reviewed the relevant literature (primary studies, systematic reviews, clinical practice guidelines, health technology assessment reports etc.). Final decisions on modifications to the list were made by the core research team. As more suggestions are reviewed more reports will be linked below in the future.

Report 1: The evidence package provided to each clinician-scientist based on suggestions made up until August 2015. The evidence package summarizes the literature for each suggested change to the list and was used in making the recommendations for accepting or rejecting the changes. The package contains references to the quoted sources. Please contact us if you have any questions about the package.
