  • patients with mechanical prosthetic heart valve, severe renal impairment, bleeding diathesis

  • oral ketoconazole, unfractionated heparin, low molecular weight heparins, antithrombin agents, warfarin, rivaroxaban, apixaban, amiodarone, aspirin, clarithromycin, verapamil
Adverse Effects

  • dyspepsia
  • gastritis-like symptoms
  • hemorrhage
  • abdominal pain
