Uses• acute otitis media
• otitis externa
• corneal injury from chemical; radiation; or thermal burns
• steroid responsive inflammatory conditions of the palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva; cornea; or anterior segment of the globe (available on site)

Contraindications
• viral infections of external canal including herpes simplex infections, dendritic keratitis
Cautions
• prolonged use may result in ocular hypertension and/or glaucoma
Adverse Effects (common and severe)• ear discomfort/pain/pruritus/debris/congestion
• taste perversion
• superimposed ear infection
• glaucoma with optic nerve damage
• visual acuity and field defects
• cataract formation
• secondary ocular infection
• globe perforation
Instructions and dose
(initial; typical)
ear - 0.1% 4 drops twice a day, eye -0.1% 1 or 2 drops 4-6 times daily
