Contraindications
• prolactin-releasing pituitary tumor, known existing prolongation of cardiac conduction intervals (particularly QT)
Drug interactions
• ketoconazole, erythromycin, protease inhibitors, nefazodone
Adverse Effects (common and severe)• serious ventricular arrhythmias or sudden cardiac death
• particularly with doses >30 mg or when used in patients >60 years of age
Instructions and dose

10 mg three times a day
Monitoring• renal function tests
• ECG (baseline and then periodically during therapy)
