• children less than 18, pregnancy, history of tendon injury or rupture, allergy to fluoroquinolones, myasthenia gravis
Drug interactions
• tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs), antipsychotics, macrolides, antiarrhythmic agents
Cautions
• associated with an increased risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture in all ages

• nausea
• diarrhea
• constipation
• headache
• insomnia
• dizziness
