Drug Interactions
• ketoconazole
• itraconazole
• posaconazole or ritonavir
• concomitant treatment with anticoagulants
Adverse Effects (common and severe)• bleeding and associated complications (weakness/paleness/dizziness/headache/dyspnea/unexplained shock)
Instructions and dose

deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism treatment: 15 mg twice daily
Monitoring• routine monitoring of coagulation tests not required
• complete blood count
• renal function test prior to initiation
